At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Florence, MT, we passionately nurture a new generation of advocates dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system. Our program offers hands-on training in organic agriculture, empowering Fellows to engage in community initiatives such as cultivating diverse crops, maintaining school gardens, and promoting food education. With a commitment to accessibility, we provide this comprehensive fellowship without tuition costs. Selected Fellows participate in an immersive six-month experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to expand access to healthy foods, support local farmers markets, and instill food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Applications are accepted until March each year, for a transformative experience spanning from May to October.
