The Mail-A-Meal (MAM) Program, an initiative of the Montana Food Bank Network in Forsyth, MT, is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to those in need, particularly in rural and remote areas with limited access to nutritious food options. Understanding the urgent nutritional requirements of vulnerable populations, the program focuses on delivering specially designed food boxes that cater primarily to seniors, featuring low-sugar, low-sodium, and whole-grain selections. Additionally, non-senior households residing in communities lacking emergency food resources are also welcome to receive a food box. With meal drop sites and convenient meal delivery options, the MAM Program strives to ensure that all Montanans have access to healthy, quality food, emphasizing compassion and support during difficult times.
