At the Headwaters Area Food Bank in Gallatin Gateway, MT, our mission is to provide vital food assistance to residents in need while ensuring that every recipient is treated with dignity and respect. We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of each household, which is why we offer various programs designed to support our community. Our Emergency Food Assistance program provides a 3 to 5 day food supply to those facing immediate hardships, while our Holiday Food Assistance ensures families can enjoy the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Additionally, we operate a Food Rescue and Recovery Program aimed at gleaning and distributing perishable food items to minimize waste, and the BackPack Program which supplies supplemental food for youth during weekends and school breaks. Our food assistance is available every 30 days, and we welcome anyone in need to reach out and access our services.
