The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Glendive, MT, empowers individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through a six-month experiential program on the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive training in organic food systems and community engagement without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Throughout their fellowship, participants will focus on growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health education programs, maintaining school and community gardens, and enhancing food literacy. After their initial training, Fellows spend a Community Action Year collaborating with local non-profits to create positive changes, such as supporting farmers markets and fostering direct-to-consumer initiatives. This fellowship is not just about learning – it's about building a healthier, more equitable food system in Montana and beyond.
