MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Hamilton, MT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting them with tailored weight management options that suit their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of support mechanisms, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, providing convenient in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we recognize that some Veterans may require more specialized care, such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery, if they continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
