The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Hardin, MT, is dedicated to empowering individuals through hands-on education in sustainable food systems. Our program prepares passionate Fellows to advocate for food justice and community resilience by providing comprehensive training in organic agriculture and community engagement. Participants will engage in a six-month residency at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profits to implement innovative food programs. Through this fellowship, we emphasize the importance of ecological literacy, diversify crop production, and support initiatives like farmers markets and community gardens, all aimed at increasing access to healthy food while fostering social and economic equity in our communities. Applications are welcomed until March each year for experiences running from May to October.
