The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Huntley, MT, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for sustainable and just food systems. We sponsor and train Fellows through an immersive program that emphasizes organic food education, community engagement, and ecological stewardship. With no tuition fees, our Fellowship is designed to be accessible to all participants. Throughout a six-month residency at our Farm Campus, Fellows gain hands-on experience in diversified crop production, school and community gardening, and innovative health care education. They also play a vital role in supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food initiatives, while fostering food literacy in local schools. Following their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year to implement their learning in partnership with regional non-profits, enhancing food access and championing sustainable practices in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the practical experience running from May to October.
