The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Kalispell, MT, nurtures the next generation of leaders committed to a fair and sustainable food system. Our program sponsors and empowers Fellows through hands-on training and education focused on organic food practices and social equity. By offering a tuition-free fellowship, we strive to make this transformative experience accessible to all. Throughout the six-month immersive residency, Fellows engage in diverse activities including cultivating community gardens, developing educational initiatives, and supporting farmers markets to enhance access to nutritious food. In their following Community Action Year, Fellows partner with local non-profits to implement their training in real-world scenarios, advocating for healthy food systems and ecological literacy in schools and communities. To join us in this vital journey, applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
