The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Kila, MT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food systems. This program offers an invaluable opportunity for selected Fellows to gain hands-on experience and comprehensive education in organic food systems, culminating in a six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus. With a strong commitment to social, environmental, and economic justice, our Fellows engage in diverse initiatives, including growing and distributing crops, creating community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in educational settings. The Fellowship emphasizes accessibility, as we do not charge tuition, making it easier for passionate individuals to realize their potential. Following their intensive training, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills and drive real change in food access and community health. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the Fellowship experience occurring from May to October.
