Meals on Wheels (MOW) in Laurel, MT, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to homebound seniors aged 60 and over by delivering hot, nutritious midday meals that fulfill one-third of their recommended dietary allowances. Our compassionate program is designed to meet the basic nutritional needs of older adults while ensuring they remain connected to the community through our caring volunteers. Meals are delivered each weekday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and we conduct an initial assessment to determine program eligibility on an individual basis. Referrals from hospital social workers, case managers, doctors, and family members are welcome. While we recommend a contribution of $4.00 per meal, no senior will be denied service due to financial constraints.
