The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Malta, MT, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about building equitable food systems. This program sponsors and trains dedicated Fellows to become effective educators and advocates for a sustainable food landscape that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. With no tuition fees, we strive to make our Fellowship accessible to all. Participants engage in hands-on learning about organic farming, community gardening, and food literacy while collaborating with local partners to cultivate and distribute diverse crops. Throughout the six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will develop innovative educational initiatives, support local farmers markets, and enhance food access in their communities. After their Fellowship, they will embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills alongside regional non-profits to further their impact.
