The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Manhattan, MT is dedicated to transforming the food landscape through education and advocacy for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. By providing comprehensive training free of tuition, the Fellowship fosters accessibility and empowers Fellows to become influential educators and leaders in the realm of sustainable agriculture. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants will explore organic food system practices, engage in community gardening, and implement innovative health initiatives. Additionally, Fellows are encouraged to support local farmers markets and develop effective distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. Following their immersive training, Fellows will participate in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to put their skills into practice.
