Located in Manhattan, MT, Food Distribution is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to residents of the Headwaters Area facing urgent food insecurity. Our mission is grounded in the principles of dignity and compassion, ensuring that every household maintains its integrity as we deliver vital emergency food services. We offer a range of programs to meet the diverse needs of our community, including Emergency Food Assistance providing 3 to 5 days' worth of food, Holiday Food Assistance for Thanksgiving and Christmas, a Food Rescue and Recovery Program that focuses on gleaning and distributing perishable items, and the BackPack Program that supplies supplemental foods to local youth during weekends and school breaks. Our food assistance is accessible every 30 days, reaffirming our commitment to support our neighbors in their time of need.
