The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marion, MT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. This innovative program offers aspiring Fellows an immersive six-month experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they receive hands-on training in organic farming, community gardening, and food education. Through partnerships with local non-profits, fellows engage in vital food assistance initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining school and community gardens, and supporting direct-to-consumer programs that enhance access to healthy foods. Our commitment to accessibility means we do not charge tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals from all backgrounds can join us. The experience culminates in a Community Action Year, where Fellows apply their skills to create lasting impact in the region. Applications are accepted until March, with the program running from May to October.
