Located in Miles City, MT, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is a free resource designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over a comprehensive 12-month journey, participants can immerse themselves in essential diabetes education and management, with materials available in both English and Spanish. The program provides six informative e-booklets tailored to address key topics related to diabetes care, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Additionally, enrollees who share their phone numbers gain access to an interactive Q&A series with diabetes experts from the American Diabetes Association, where they can ask questions, learn about the critical relationship between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful resources to support their journey to thriving with diabetes.
