About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Park City, MT is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to champion a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through our accessible program at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in hands-on education centered around organic food systems. This immersive experience allows them to collaborate with local partners on various initiatives, including growing and distributing diverse crops, running educational health sessions, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in schools. Our Fellows support farmers markets, help establish direct-to-consumer distribution channels, and participate in community food coalition activities. After a comprehensive six-month training at our farm, they embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills in collaboration with regional non-profits. Applications are welcomed until March, with the Fellowship experience running from May to October, ensuring an impactful journey toward sustainable food advocacy.
