The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sidney, MT, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to be passionate advocates for a just food system that embraces social, environmental, and economic fairness. Our fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected participants to engage in immersive, hands-on learning focused on organic food systems, while also promoting accessibility through a tuition-free model. Throughout a six-month residency at our campus, Fellows gain invaluable experience in growing and distributing diverse crops, conducting educational sessions on innovative healthcare, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy within schools. Furthermore, they actively contribute to local farmers markets and support programs that increase access to nutritious foods. After their residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional nonprofits to put their skills into practice.
