This transformative program offers comprehensive training in organic agriculture and food systems without tuition, ensuring accessibility for all interested candidates. Over six months, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning on our farm, where they gain practical skills in growing and distributing diverse crops, leading innovative health education sessions, overseeing school and community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy. Additionally, Fellows actively support farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, enhancing community access to healthy foods. The fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where participants apply their training with regional non-profits, fostering meaningful change in the local food landscape. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
