The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wolf Point, MT, is dedicated to fostering a sustainable and equitable food system by empowering passionate individuals through hands-on training and education. This Fellowship offers an accessible, no-tuition program that equips fellows with the skills to advocate for environmentally and socially just food practices. Participants engage in organic food system education, actively growing and distributing diversified crops, implementing health-focused educational initiatives, and maintaining community gardens. By integrating food and ecological literacy into school activities, supporting local farmers markets, and developing efficient distribution channels for healthy foods, fellows play a vital role in strengthening community food networks. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, fellows collaborate with non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and make a meaningful impact. Applications are open until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
