Located in Candler, NC, the Family Resource Center at Emma Elementary is dedicated to supporting English and Latino families in crisis through a variety of essential services. Our food pantry provides emergency food assistance to those in need, while our clothing closet offers warm and practical clothing options for families. We assist with SNAP applications and offer emergency financial assistance to help alleviate immediate hardships. Additionally, we provide community referrals to connect families with further resources, along with parenting classes that promote healthy family dynamics. Our community garden not only supplies fresh produce but also fosters a sense of community and collaboration among residents.
