MOVE! Weight Management Program in Cary, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with tailored weight management solutions that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of options including engaging group sessions, supportive telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home assistance. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues. To participate, interested Veterans should reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for guidance and support in their weight loss journey.
