Located in Cornelius, NC, the Ada Jenkins Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Our clients have the opportunity to select their groceries based on a nutritionally balanced shopping list from Loaves & Fishes, ensuring they receive the support they need. Each eligible client-partner can access our food pantry services up to eight times a year with a referral, which can be facilitated through our administrative office. To promote safety during the ongoing pandemic, we have adapted our operations to a convenient weekly drive-thru service, allowing community members to collect pre-packaged grocery bags with ease. A photo ID is required to complete the referral process, and anyone picking up on behalf of another person must present a signed permission letter. We are here to help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
