Based in Goldsboro, NC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities, focusing on obesity screening and personalized treatment options. We offer a range of weight management services tailored to individual preferences, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which connects Veterans with clinicians from home. For those who desire more independence, we have the MOVE! Coach mobile app to aid weight management. Additionally, for Veterans facing significant challenges with their weight, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. To get involved with MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider, ensuring that support is readily available and tailored to their unique needs.
