The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Hickory, NC, is designed to support individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, 12-month education initiative. Participants will benefit from an enriching curriculum comprised of six detailed e-booklets, tailored to meet their unique needs as they navigate their diagnosis. Our monthly e-newsletter, available in both English and Spanish, provides seasonal tips, resources, and information about local community events. Additionally, enrollees who provide their phone number will have the opportunity to join our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can engage directly with ADA specialists, explore the connections between diabetes and heart health, and participate in exciting giveaways aimed at enhancing their life with diabetes management.
