MOVE! Weight Management Program in Kinston, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through targeted weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to suitable weight management solutions that cater to individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of care options, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. Veterans can also engage with the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who may need additional support, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring all other options.
