Located in Knightdale, NC, the Culinary Apprenticeship Program (CAP) is dedicated to empowering individuals who are unemployed or underemployed through comprehensive hands-on training in the food industry. Our program not only equips participants with essential culinary skills, including food safety, knife techniques, and catering experience alongside the Food Shuttle’s Horizon Catering, but also provides a weekly stipend and all necessary materials to ensure success. With direct mentorship from local chefs, participants learn valuable cooking techniques and gain vital life and employment skills, ultimately paving the way to stable careers in the food sector.
