Located in Lumberton, NC, the Free Choice Food Pantry is dedicated to providing free food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. We understand that many in our community, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, and disabled veterans, often struggle to access enough nutritious food. Our pantry operates twice weekly, offering a choice-based system that allows clients to select approximately four days' worth of groceries tailored to their family's needs. For those in emergency situations, we also provide special food boxes every four months, with eligibility based on family size and need. We welcome everyone who requires help, ensuring that all necessary documents such as identification and Social Security cards are available to facilitate the process. Our mission is to empower families in Lumberton with the nourishment they need to thrive.
