MOVE! Weight Management Program in Matthews, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, connect them with tailored weight management services, and provide a variety of treatment options to meet individual preferences. Our program includes group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which offers in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those who prefer self-management, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app, along with additional options like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight-related issues.
