At Common Cupboard, located in Monroe, NC, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in need through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which features a variety of USDA commodities. Each week, we offer a welcoming food pantry where local residents can access a selection of fresh produce and baked goods to nourish their families. To qualify, families must reside in Union County, NC, and complete a brief application, granting them access to support for the entire year. Our pantry operates every Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and to ensure the safety of our guests, we provide a contactless service by loading food directly into your vehicle during the ongoing COVID-19 precautions.
