Common Heart is dedicated to alleviating hunger in Monroe, NC, by providing essential food assistance through our four weekly food pantries. We proudly feature government commodities from the USDA’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), along with fresh produce and baked goods to support the nutritional needs of local families. To access our services, residents of Union County must meet eligibility criteria and complete a brief application, ensuring support for a full year. In addition to our pantries, we offer emergency food boxes and delivery services, emphasizing our commitment to immediate assistance. Join us at our locations: Mill Grove United Methodist Church on Mondays, Benton Heights Presbyterian Church on Mondays, Wingate Baptist Church on Tuesdays, and Union United Methodist Church on Thursdays, all from 7-8 pm. We prioritize safety; there’s no need to arrive earlier than 6:45 p.m., as food will be loaded directly into your vehicle. Together, we can nourish our community's hope and resilience.
