Located in Mooresville, NC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and referred to personalized weight management options that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services designed to support Veterans on their weight loss journey, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. In addition, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite participation in MOVE!.
