At the Women's Center of Wake County, we are committed to supporting the vital needs of women and children facing homelessness or those at risk in Raleigh, NC. Our Basic Needs Services provide a safe day shelter, the only one of its kind for women and families in Wake County, where they can find refuge from harsh weather while accessing essential resources. We offer comprehensive support including emergency food assistance, nutritious meals, personal hygiene products, transportation through bus tickets, clothing, and direct financial aid. Our services also facilitate the important steps towards recovery and stability, helping individuals obtain identification for access to further community services, and providing a pathway to housing assistance as well as mental health and substance abuse support.
