MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Sanford, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity, connecting them to personalized weight management solutions tailored to their unique needs. We offer a variety of options including group sessions for community engagement, telephone lifestyle coaching for flexible support, TeleMOVE! for in-home messaging and clinician interaction, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided weight management. For Veterans requiring additional assistance, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring initial strategies.
