MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Tarboro, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to regularly screen all Veterans at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management options tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of services including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for at-home support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside additional options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need more intensive assistance. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to explore the available resources and get started on their journey to better health.
