Project HEAL Wilmington, NC
About Meal Support Program
The Meal Support Program in Wilmington, NC, is dedicated to providing free, accessible meal support for individuals over the age of 16 who are navigating the outpatient stage of eating disorder recovery. Our program offers structured, live virtual drop-in group meals that create a safe and supportive environment where participants can nourish themselves alongside others facing similar challenges. We host meal support sessions four times a day, with two options for lunch and two for dinner, allowing individuals to choose the times that best fit their schedules. Each session is led by trained nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, ensuring participants receive informed guidance during their meals. While we focus on meal support, we encourage those in crisis to seek immediate assistance through established emergency channels. Together, we foster a nurturing community aimed at supporting recovery and building healthy relationships with food.
