Located in Wilson, NC, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them to tailored weight management services that suit their individual needs. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, thoughtful telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for at-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For those who require additional assistance, we provide access to weight loss medications and, when necessary, bariatric surgery for continued weight-related challenges.
