The Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Neligh, NE, is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors aged sixty and over by providing essential food assistance directly from the USDA. Every two months, eligible participants receive a variety of nutritious foods, including canned fruits and vegetables, milk, bottled juice, cereal, canned meats, peanut butter, cheese, and pasta or rice, ensuring they have access to vital nourishment. Beyond food distribution, CSFP also offers valuable nutrition education to empower seniors with the knowledge they need to make healthy choices.
