The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Caliente, NV, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become champions of a just food system through comprehensive education and hands-on experience. Our program sponsors and trains a select group of Fellows, equipping them with the skills to advocate for fair access to healthy food and environmentally sustainable practices. With no tuition fees, we ensure that anyone with a passion for transformative food systems can join. Over six months, Fellows immerse themselves in experiential learning on our farm, engaging in activities such as growing diverse crops, managing community gardens, and supporting farmers markets. The Fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where participants put their knowledge into practice by collaborating with local non-profits to increase food accessibility and promote food and ecological literacy. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the transformative experience occurring from May to October.
