About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Crescent Valley, NV, empowers passionate individuals to become advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Through a tuition-free program, we provide comprehensive training in organic food systems, equipping Fellows with the knowledge to teach and inspire within their communities. Over six months of immersive, hands-on learning at our campus, participants engage in activities such as growing diversified crops on market-style farms, leading educational sessions for innovative healthcare, and integrating food and ecological literacy into local schools. Fellows also play a vital role in supporting community gardens, farmers markets, and distribution channels that enhance access to healthy foods. Following their training, they continue their mission through a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement impactful food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
