Located in Crescent Valley, NV, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is a vital initiative dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans. Our mission is to empower Veterans to achieve and maintain a healthier weight through a personalized approach to weight management that includes a variety of care options. We conduct annual screenings to identify obesity and connect Veterans with tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs and preferences. Our comprehensive offerings include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! services, which allow for in-home assistance and clinical support as needed. For those who prefer to self-manage, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and, when necessary, bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges despite prior efforts. To get started on the journey towards better health, interested Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider.
