Situated in Crystal Bay, NV, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is the second largest provider of WIC services in Northern Nevada, dedicated to nurturing families and promoting the well-being of children. Our mission is to empower pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under the age of 5, through essential food assistance, access to supplemental nutritious foods, and comprehensive education. We pride ourselves on offering breastfeeding support services and fostering a community through monthly virtual support groups. Our inclusive approach ensures that every family, regardless of citizenship or immigration status, can access our vital resources. Additionally, we connect families with health and social services and provide expert referrals for breastfeeding and lactation care, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
