The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Deeth, NV, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a sustainable and equitable food system. This program empowers Fellows through hands-on training and education in organic farming, emphasizing a food system that aligns social, environmental, and economic justice. By providing tuition-free access, we ensure that the Fellowship is available to all aspiring leaders in agriculture. Throughout their six-month residency at our farm campus, participants will engage in growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative community health education, and enriching schools and communities with gardens and food literacy programs. Fellows will also participate in local farmers markets, enhance direct-to-consumer distribution channels, and collaborate with regional non-profits during their Community Action Year. The application window typically closes in March, allowing selected participants to immerse themselves in this transformative experience from May to October each year.
