The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Duckwater, NV, is dedicated to supporting individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through an engaging, free, 12-month journey of learning and management. Tailored to meet participants at their current understanding, this program provides a series of six informative e-booklets, a monthly e-newsletter featuring seasonal tips and local events, all available in both English and Spanish. Participants also have the opportunity to join a monthly Q&A series with diabetes experts from the American Diabetes Association, where they can ask questions, explore heart health connections, and take part in special giveaways designed to empower them in their diabetes management. Our mission is to equip and enliven those living with diabetes, fostering a proactive and informed community.
