The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) in Empire, NV, is a compassionate initiative approved by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), designed to empower individuals at risk of developing type II diabetes. Our mission is to equip participants with vital skills and knowledge to manage their health proactively, promote weight loss, and ultimately prevent diabetes. Through a comprehensive curriculum, we offer diabetes education, lifestyle coaching, and group support focused on healthy eating, nutrition, and cooking nutritious meals. Participants will engage in activities promoting physical activity, effective weight loss strategies, stress management, improved sleep, and robust communication with healthcare providers.
