Located in Fallon, NV, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program provides essential food assistance to low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through personalized nutrition education, tailored assessments, and ongoing counseling and support. WIC not only provides nutritious supplemental foods and breastfeeding assistance but also issues checks for health-related food expenses and connects families with vital healthcare and social services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our local WIC clinics continue to operate, offering services via phone, mail, or in-person appointments to ensure that all eligible families receive the support they need without interruption.
