Meals on Wheels, a dedicated program of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, is committed to combating hunger and enhancing nutrition for low-income and fixed-income seniors in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. As the only service in the area delivering meals directly to homebound seniors at no cost, we provide a weekly supply of seven nutritionally balanced frozen meals designed by our registered dietitian. Our meals, prepared from scratch by expert chefs, ensure that every client receives wholesome nutrition suited to their needs, including options for modified textures and nutritional supplements. Beyond meal delivery, our caring drivers conduct wellness checks each week, fostering essential connections for many seniors who rely on this service as their primary form of social interaction. Through our program, we aim to improve the health and security of homebound seniors, helping them maintain independent living in their own homes.
