The Medical Nutrition Therapy Program, provided by Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, is dedicated to supporting adults aged 60 and older in Laughlin, NV, by ensuring they receive vital nutrition tailored to their specific health needs. We offer meal delivery services that deliver balanced, nutritious meals designed to meet one-third of the daily nutritional requirements for older adults, adhering to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and standards set by the Older Americans Act. Our program also features personalized consultations from a registered dietitian to assist clients managing medical conditions requiring dietary intervention, as well as those experiencing chewing or swallowing difficulties. In addition to over-the-phone nutrition consultations, we provide modified textured meals and access to nutritional supplements when available, all aimed at combating malnutrition and enhancing overall well-being for seniors in our community.
