The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mc Dermitt, NV is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in food advocacy and sustainable agriculture. This empowering program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in hands-on learning about organic food systems, focusing on principles of social, environmental, and economic justice. With free tuition, we strive to make this fellowship accessible to all. Over six months, Fellows will immerse themselves in experiential training at our campus, gaining practical skills in diverse agricultural practices, community gardening, health education initiatives, and food system literacy. Following their training, participants will embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to enhance food access and support regional food coalitions. Applications are accepted until March, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
