At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mina, NV, we are dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through education and advocacy. Our program empowers participants to become knowledgeable leaders and activists by offering hands-on training in organic farming practices and community food initiatives. Fellows engage in a six-month residential experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diverse crops, maintain community gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Additionally, they play a vital role in supporting local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, ensuring increased access to healthy food options. We are committed to making this fellowship accessible, which is why we do not charge tuition, and we invite applicants to join us in this transformative experience. Applications are accepted until March for the program running from May to October.
