Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected with personalized weight management options tailored to their individual needs. MOVE! offers a range of services including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative resources like TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer independent management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery for Veterans who, despite engaging with MOVE!, continue to face challenges with overweight or weight-related concerns.
